Liaura is a safe, nurturing digital platform for children aged 6–13 to learn, play, and connect. Built with safeguarding at its core, Liaura empowers families with powerful tools to manage screen time, protect children from online harm, and encourage positive digital habits.

Liaura does not use a traditional free tier with paid upgrades. Instead, we follow an ethical cross-subsidy model: • If a family cannot afford to pay, they receive 12 months completely free — no trial, no catches. • Families who choose to pay become Community Champions. These members sponsor access for others and help sustain the platform’s mission. • We also welcome support from schools, councils, and other sponsors who wish to provide access to families in need.

At Liaura, your child's safety is our top priority. We use a mix of human and tech-based moderation, strict parental controls, and proactive safeguarding policies. Our team is DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained. You can easily monitor their friends list and activities through your dedicated parent area.

Liaura is designed for: • Children aged 6–13, who use the app under supervised accounts. • Parents and guardians, who manage and monitor their child’s activity using dedicated tools. • It is currently only available to UK residents.

To ensure child safety, we ask parents to verify their identity when signing up. This process is quick, secure, and handled only by trained safeguarding staff. Verification helps us keep Liaura safe for all families.

Children can access: • Moderated chats and feed post updates from close friends within the closed network • Age-appropriate learning videos • Quizzes and interactive experiences • Safe, fun games • A moderated social feed designed to promote creativity, kindness, and positive habits

We’ll get in touch before your free year ends, but your subscription will automatically move to a £2.99/mo paid plan. If you’re still unable to pay, you can apply for extended support. No family will ever be excluded for financial reasons.

Liaura works on most modern iOS and Android phones and tablets. We're also working to bring Liaura to desktop. We provide setup guides and tutorials to make installation easy for everyone.
