Liaura is a guardian-managed social and learning app for children aged around 7–
11, designed as a calm, safe alternative to mainstream social media.
Children can connect with approved friends, explore learning content, and
use wellbeing tools — all with parent oversight and safeguards built in.
Why Liaura is Free for These Families
Liaura operates an ethical access model: families who need it receive free
access, supported by partners and paying supporters - our Community
Champions. This ensures safety and learning tools aren’t locked behind
paywalls for families who need them. We work with amazing charities and schools to broaden access in line with our mission.

How to Get Free Access

Parents download Liaura from the App Store or Google Play

They set up their family account and child accounts for free.

If possible, you can support them with reminders to organise signup and secure friend connections with other connected parents to use Liaura together.
Liaura requires no payment details and comes fully featured for everyone, in line with our mission. We are operating a pay-what-you-can model - the most equitable and streamlined way to become community-supported by those who can, while not disadvantaging those who can't - in any way.
